Golden

Located in the foothills of the Rockies, Golden is the seat of Jefferson County and home to the Colorado School of Mines, world-renowned engineering school and Coors Brewing Company. Known for its historical contribution to the State of Colorado, Golden was once the capital before Denver and a major mining community. Now this hip metro-mountain community is recognized for its cute downtown strip, gorgeous mesas, and being the final resting place of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody.

In the downtown area you will find several chic restaurants, music venues, shops and cute boutiques in addition to residential neighborhoods.
